Brooklyn, NY-based Prestige Label Co. Inc. won four awards at Package Printing Magazine’s 2003 Excellence in Printing awards during the CMM Conference and Exhibition in Chicago last April. The honors included first place in the digital label printing category for a pressure sensitive foil label for BEF Corp., and first place in the digital flexible packaging printing category for Gillette’s Good News package. Executives said the BEF label rendered intricate design details and flags from various countries. High-definition printing on unsupported film was used on the Gillette package, enabling brilliant color and clarity.
